We ordered just a few extras of this beautiful design, and they're here and ready to ship!

Don't wait - once these are gone, they're gone, and may never be woven again!

  • We have a very small amount of extra fabric- if you have a carrier or accessory request, email us at contact@mama-roo.com and let us know. If we can make it happen, we will! These requests will take several weeks to arrive, as they will be cut and sewn just for you -

Here's a look at the fabric samples!

Design description:

Miracle Constellations - Inspired by the miracle of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The miracle (in part): Mary's image is imprinted on cloth, and in this image, her mantle is covered in stars that match the constellations of the night sky the day she appeared, as if looking down from heaven.

This design is inspired specifically by the invisible constellations- the ones not shown on the image, but that she was aligned with.

In this design, you can see these 5 invisible constellations-

  • The Corona Borealis, positioned to give Our Lady her “crown of stars"
  • Virgo over her heart, translating to “virgin” or “maiden,” the second largest named constellation and containing one of the brightest stars in the sky, for the virgin Mary’s great love and light to guide our hearts
  • Leo over her womb. The Lion constellation contains the Regulus star “little king,” representing Christ coming to us as a child in her womb
  • Gemini over her lap - “the twins” - a symbol for wisdom, and Mary is also called “The Seat of Wisdom”
  • Orion the Warrior- I have always loved the vision of Mary barefoot and stomping out evil, and although there are different interpretations of this constellation placement, including St. Michael the protector, I like the thought that this is another image of our lady’s power of protection.
The teal and gold are colors of royalty at the time and why they are used here as well as in the original image.

Notes about weave:  See images for updated design photos, including the reverse! Dark teal/green with gold stars on the standard, and light green/gold with dark blue/teal stars on the reverse.

Material: 100% cotton
Est gsm: 280/290
Weave: Jacquard

Please be aware that colors may vary slightly due to different screen resolutions and the multi-stage process to get a design from an image to the loom!

Beautiful and comfortable

Such a beautiful wrap, once broken in it was so soft. It requires very little to break in which is wonderful. I've never owned a brand new wrap, always second hand. This is such a treasure I will pass down to my children.
