Ring Sling, Sunset Wreath *Limited Edition Exclusive*, gathered shoulder
*LIMITED EDITION Exclusive*
****
This listing is for a Gathered shoulder
Ring Sling length options:
1.8m / 71in / 5'11" - standard
2.1m / 82.5in / 6'10.5" - long
How to choose?
--The standard 1.8m length will work for most child/caregiver pairs
--If you have an older child or are plus size, you may like the extra fabric of the 2.1m length
--The 2.1m has enough fabric to successfully use the ring sling in a back carry as it allows for a second pass for security
--Extra fabric in the length can be used as a nursing cover, sun shade, second pass for extra support for seat-poppers, and can be wrapped around the rings to keep out of the way
Will I like a gathered shoulder? Gathered shoulders drape down the arm more than pleated shoulders. See here for example photos and more information on ring sling styles: https://mama-roo.com/blogs/gentle-pregnancy-and-parenting/ring-slings-part-1

*****

This is a limited edition exclusive print that will NOT be run again <3.
Artist Statement:
I designed “Sunset Wreath” for the Lenny Lamb weaving challenge. I am a professional graphic designer and a woven wrap, babywearing enthusiast and I was very excited at the chance to design a wrap for me and my baby boy. My goal was to design something I would buy. I knew what the colors would be immediately because I’ve been looking for a wrap with these sunset colors for a long time. And then I just got to work doodling on my computer. I knew I wanted it be a geometric but also inspired by nature. The main element used is a very simple leaf shape and the circular design it ended up becoming reminded me of a wreath, hence the name “Sunset Wreath”.

Crossroads Gotham by Bijou
Crossroads Gotham is a stunning, medium/light ring sling with dark grey prominent, with white hashmark - style organic design in white and a white weft. The rings are a gorgeous black and set the mood for this sling!
Rings Slings offer a breathable front or hip carry for little ones from newborn age through toddler hood. They adjust quickly from one babywearer to another, and are a must-have baby gear item!
100% cotton
*Please scroll down for sizing information.*
Bijou ring slings, made from the same USA-made Jacquard woven fabric found in Bijou Wear's woven wraps, provide the very best in support and strength in the field of slings. Slings in this collection can be used for newborns, babies, and toddlers from 8-35 pounds!
Bijou proudly uses safety-tested SlingRings and sews a floating gathered shoulder, which provides shoulder cush and superior spreadability for any babywearer.
Ring slings are measured from the gathered edge on the rings along the short rail.
They are measured postwash in inches as follows: Small = 70 inches // Medium = 75 inches // Large = 80 inches // Extra Large = 85 inches // Extra Extra Large = 90 inches /// Extra Extra Extra Large = 95 inches.
A good rule to follow is to buy your t-shirt size, though if you are large busted or have a large ribcage or carry a large toddler, you might choose to size up. However, larger people can wear smaller ring slings and vice versa. The only difference will be the amount of "tail" hanging down from the rings. Remember, they are only five inches different from each other, so don't be wary of getting a shorter or longer size than you might think! You can measure a loop from one shoulder to opposite hip and back with a soft tape to see how long your adjusting tail will be with each of the sizes.

Weight: 280 gsm
Peacock's Tail Provance is a beautiful fanned out pattern in rich blues and deep purples and teals.
Ring Slings are a quick, easy-to-use and lightweight babywearing option. Less intimidating to some, its biggest advantage is that you do not have to "wrap" it. Simply pull the fabric correctly through the rings, put the baby in and tighten (follow instructions provided). Ring slings can be used from newborn through toddler stages. An active toddler who wants up-down-up-down may be easier to wrap in a ring sling versus other carriers!
Start with your newborn baby in a cradle carry, and as soon as your baby can hold their head up you can also use the upright position. The weight limit is 33lbs / 15kg.
LennyLamb RingSlings are made for the left shoulder as a standard.
The LennyLamb RingSling has been acknowledged as a "hip healthy" product by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.
Sizing:
We recommend at least 12" of fabric tail hanging down from the rings after your child is in the carrier, for safety.
Many caregivers find the standard size 1.8m (5'11" / 71") to be sufficient, especially for a newborn.
If you are plus size, if you are carrying an older child, or if you prefer extra fabric, you may find the 2.1m (6'10.5" / 82.5") more comfortable.
Other uses for extra hanging fabric: Twisting around the rings for a cleaner look and tucked out of the way; use for back carrying with a ring sling; used as a second pass of fabric to keep a squirmy baby in place; used as a nursing cover; used as an extra layer for warmth; used as an extra layer to protect against the sun.
This is an ideal carrier for learning to babywear, for quick carries, and for use from the very early days.

Ring Sling, Pique Lisa, Gathered
Didymos
100% Organic Cotton
250 gsm
Ringslings, convenient and quick to put on, fully adjustable and well suited from newborn to toddler and for any user. Your baby can be popped in and out as needed. Manufactured with the same fabrics that are used for creating the DIDYMOS wraps, they are available in size 1R with a gathered "shoulder style" as standard.
NEW: DidySlings made from DIDYMOS waffle piqué fabric.
Wonderfully moldable, the fabric can be pulled easily through the rings and is comfortable to tighten and to adjust. With its subtle texture, the piqué fabric has enough grip to make sure knots and rings stay in place even after prolonged wearing and, if needed, they are very easy to re-adjust.
Soft, our piqué fabric feels comfortable on the shoulder, it has a beautiful „drape“ and keeps its shape and colours even after many washes.
With their fantastic qualities, DIDYMOS waffle piqué fabrics make great summer slings:
Piqué fabric is breathable, durable and easy to care for. It has excellent give and comfort. Thin, the fabric does not bulk up. It is very moisture absorbant and dries fast – ideal to ensure that you and your child stay cool when temperatures are rising.
DIDYMOS waffle piqué fabric is woven from pure organic cotton, the colours are free from heavy metals or any other harmful substances.
While you enjoy your summer babywearing time, our waffle piqué slings make you feel comfortable and look great. Model Lisa combines the fancy piqué structure with colourful stripes woven into a dark blue background.

I’m not a huge fan of ring slings usually, but this sling is soft and very comfy! Super cute weave as well. I got a long one, because I had ring slings previously that didn’t fit well because they were too short due to my large chest and broad shoulders. That wasn’t an issue at all with this!
