Carrier Description - Onbuhimos are perfect for quick "ups" without putting pressure on the waist. Great for use while pregnant or for anyone who prefers a more "backpack" style without a waist belt.

The Lenny Buckle Onbuhimo carrier is an advanced carrier designed for children who can already sit unassisted. We recommend this carrier for those who are already comfortable with making a supportive seat for baby in a carrier and who are comfortable with your child's weight being high on the shoulders/upper back.

The onbuhimo style is most commonly used for back carry. The Lenny Buckle Onbuhimo is available in two sizes - Baby/Standard and Toddler. The adjustable pull strap for the width of the panel provides sizing flexibility for a wide range of children.

Sizing:

This carrier is designed for children who can already sit unassisted, or an assisted tripod sit at minimum. It is most commonly used for back carry but can be used for front carry also.
Baby/standard size is a universal size of the carrier - it will fit an infant (who can already sit unassisted) as well as an older child. We recommend this size for children from 4 months until 2T pants

Toddler size is designed for toddlers over the age of two. We recommend this size for children already in 2T pants and taller.

I CAN DO THINGS

As a mom of an 8month old breastfed clingy baby… I have spent the last 8 months learning to do things with one hand while holding my baby in the other. Or just not doing things (cooking. Cleaning) it’s been very frustrating. I have felt like a bad wife and mom. But now… I have freedom!!! This thing is a life saver!!! I cried.

Absolutely worth it

I absolutely love this carrier! Literally one clip only and fast assemble from baby to you. No crazy clips all over. I love mine and have been using it since my baby was 5 months.

Comfortable and easy to use

Probably should have sized up because my toddler is on the cusp of being 2T and the standard carrier feels a little snug, but overall very high quality, easy to use, and will be perfect when we have our next baby!

Great Little Backpack

My boy loves this backpack. He just turned two, and we took our first trip via airplane last week - it was great for quickly moving between flights and was the only way I could get him to sleep during our long layover. The best part is how compact the backpack is - it fit within my personal item and was quick to get out and get ready. My only complaint is the pack is fairly difficult to get on without some else there to make sure everything is safe - I feel it can be done, I just need a little more practice.
