Preemie Long Woven Baby Wrap

100% Cotton

Broken Twill Weave, Luna

Weight: 210 gsm

Luna is an absolutely stunning bright rainbow of vertical stripes with a slight gradient from color to color. A true pastel rainbow that goes through all the colors.

Preemie wraps are a shorter width (16.5"/42cm as compared to 23.5"-27.5" / 60-70cm for standard wraps). Our preemie wrap fabrics have been specially chosen to be comfortable for smaller babies. The shorter width allows for easier and more comfortable wrapping for babies with a low birthweight.

Recommended from birth to about 6 month clothing size, or until you need more width.

Beautiful, basic, and comfortable. Lenny Lamb wraps are truly woven pieces of art.

Sizing

Need sizing help? Most start with a size 6, but it can vary based on your size, baby's age, and the carries you prefer. Most wrappers can use most sizes!

If this is your first wrap, we recommend starting with your base size and a base -2 (2 sizes smaller than your base size). For fancy finishes or for carrying children 1 yr or older, choose your base +1 (1 size larger than your base size). See description of base size estimates below.

Preemie wraps are 16.5" / 42cm wide.

Size 4/XS is 3.9yds / 3.6m long - a common base -2 size

Size 5/S is 4.6yds / 4.2m long - a common base size for those in XS/S t-shirts, base -2 for those in XL/2XL t-shirts

Size 6/M is 5yds / 4.6m long - the most common base size, typical for those in M/L t-shirts

Size 7/L is 5.7yds / 5.2m long - the second most common base size, most common base +1 size for fancy finishes. Typically a good base size for those in XL/2XL t-shirts

Size 8/XL is 6.5yds / 6m long - Great for carrying twins in the same wrap. A good base size for those in 3XL/4XL t-shirts. A great base +1 for fancy finishes for those in XL/2XL t-shirts

***We recommend that you consult your child's physician prior to wearing a premature infant.***

Long Woven Wraps are beautiful and functional from infancy through toddlerhood. Wraps can be adjusted in many different carries to suit the wearer and baby/toddler's comfort and needs. Versatile and strong, the same wrap will fit people of various sizes and silhouettes. A woven wrap is always a good choice, no matter the baby's age, weight or stage of development - all you need to do is choose the carry that will work best for you. You can try: ‘tummy-to tummy’, cradle, hip or back carries.

The LennyLamb Woven Wrap has been acknowledged as a "hip healthy" product by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.

Beautiful Colors, Soft Fabric, Convenient/Efficient

Great colors - I've got instant compliments. The fabric is soft from the get-go. Woven wraps are so convenient for me as I carry my three kids of different ages at anytime with them. Their comfort and efficiency can't be beat.

Beautiful and comfortable

I love my woven wrap more than my backpack style carrier or my stretchy Moby wrap. It feels better on my back. My newborn loves it too!

Amazing

I had been researching and researching and researching a good woven and I was unsure when I ordered, but I think I found it! I have one other wrap that is a base+1 and handwoven but is just too bulky and grippy to really become proficient in my wrapping journey as I’m new to this. My new LL is so much easier and lighter, which my 23lb 11 month old likes since she gets hot quickly in my other wrap. My LL Airglow slides easy through my “fancy” finishes and is great for helping me stand by strand tighten correctly. My next wrap, I believe will be another LennyLamb. I’m very glad I tried it out.

Gorgeous Fall wrap

I love the feel and design of this wrap! I use it for back carry for my 15 month old and front carry for my infant (one at a time). I can't wait to order another carrier, once my littles are a bit older.

Thank you so much for your review, and for your beautiful photos! So sweet to see! Let us know if you want any tips on tandem wearing, too =). Can't wait to see what you choose for your next carrier - it will be stunning. Thank you again! Let us know if we can help with anything, and have a lovely day! -Alexandra, Founder, Mama & Roo's

First woven

Absolutely gorgeous and sturdy. I've been eyeing wovens for my 14 month old for... like 10 months honestly. Relying on stretchy wraps and SSB carriers as well as ring slings. So excited to explore wrapping and this feels safe and reliable as well as being beautiful and a good gsm so I'm not boiling.

Thank you so much for your review! We're so glad you decided to go for it and jump into the wonderful world of woven wraps. This is an amazing gsm- a gorgeous wrap texture and strength, but so thin. We love it, and we're so glad that you, too! If you'd like any more tips for using your new wrap, definitely check out the articles in our journal here: https://mama-roo.com/blogs/gentle-pregnancy-and-parenting. Or, feel free to email us and we'll provide you some tips one-on-one as well! Thank you again, and have a wonderful day! -Alexandra, Founder, Mama & Roo's
