20mm Nipple Shield, Set of 4

Maymom brand nipple shield acts as silicone nipple over the parent's nipple to allow for easier latching. This lets a baby with tongue tie or other anatomical abnormalities grasp the nipple more easily. It is also helpful for parents with inverted or flat nipples where it is difficult to draw the nipple out. A great solution until issues resolve

• Includes four (4) 20mm nipple shields. These shields are 20mm at the base and 13mm at the tip, to accommodate small nipples (commonly seen alongside true flat or inverted nipples)

SIZING INFORMATION:

*Moms are encouraged to buy and use nipple shields with the assistance of a lactation consultant or healthcare specialist.*

Two factors should be taken into consideration when purchasing a nipple shield:

1. The nipple shield should fit tighter than a breast shield/flange and the size of the baby's mouth should be taken into consideration.

2. The nipple shield should be about 1-2 mm bigger than the diameter of the nipple. e.g. An 18mm diameter nipple can use a 20mm nipple shield.
